Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer

Job Overview:
A rewarding opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and first-line support for electrical systems in a dynamic and critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, COSHH, F-Gas, and Low Voltage Safe Systems of Work.
- Perform PPM, proactive maintenance, and reactive tasks within agreed SLAs.
- Provide first-line support for electrical and switchgear issues as required.
- Deliver out-of-hours callout support (minimum 1 in 4) and planned night work when required.
- Monitor contractor performance, ensure adherence to standards, and issue Permits to Work.
- Maintain equipment performance to meet specified criteria and company standards.
- Represent the company professionally to exceed customer expectations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- City and Guilds 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants or CITB J11 Equivalent.
- NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration and AC Systems.
- Previous experience in PPM and reactive building services maintenance in critical environments.
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols, including Electrical Safe Systems of Work.
- Low Voltage Authorised Person certification.
- IPAF/PASMA and IOSH qualifications.
